Holly Days Nursery, Inc., is located on Horsham Road in Horsham Pennsylvania, across from Whitemarsh Memorial Park. Our seven acre nursery has over 1,000 different varieties of plants, shrubs and trees. We are reknown for our huge selection of materials that are continually upgraded throughout the year. Our inventory includes balled and burlapped plants as well as containerized trees and plants that range in size from small to large 20 feet trees.

We also have a huge variety of hardgoods, including clean and modified stone, red tipple, goose eggs, river jacks, boulders, Belgium blocks, West Mountain wallstone, Tumbled Blue stone to name a few. It is important that you purchase your mulch and plants from a reputable nursery or garden center. While many other retail outlets sell plants in the spring, most of these facilities do not have the personnel trained to properly care for the plants or are unable to assist you in the decision making process. Holly Days Nursery, Inc., employs graduates and current students from Delaware Velley Collage and Temple University. Holly Days Nursery, Inc., maintains a BSLA lanscape designer, several BS Horticulturists and many ICPI Certified Technicians on staff.

Our assortment of annuals and perennials are unmatched and are constantly updated throughout each season.

If you're looking for a way to save lots of time in the garden, mulching is the answer. Mulching your flower and vegetable beds will drastically reduce the amount of time spent weeding, watering and fighting pests. Mulch also improves the appearance of your garden. Mulch helps conserve moisture; 10 to 25 percent reduction in soil moisture loss from evaporation. Mulch also reduces water runoff and soil erosion. Mulch eliminates mowing around trees and shrubs and provides a physical barrier that prevents damage from lawn mowers and weed trimmers. Mulch should be applied to a weed-free soil surface. It is not necessary to remove the mulch when you fertilize. Apply the fertilizer over the mulch. Holly Days Nursery, Inc., recommends 10-10-10 Gereral product or Holly Tone as fertilizer and suggests using Preen as a pre-emergent herbicide to prevent weed growth. Holly Days Nursery, Inc., carries both products.
