Education: ICPI certified, Delaware Valley College –Agricultural Economics. Hands-on experience by growing up working in the industry.

Specialties in the field of work: Torrey is an expert in landscape design and installation. He has over 15 years experience performing residential and commercial landscape design, installation and construction. He has expert knowledge of ornamental trees and shrubs specific to zones 4, 5, and 6. Torrey has 20 years experience in tree pruning and arboriculture. He is also extremely skilled in all phases of hardscape construction design and installation. Torrey has comprehensive knowledge of all equipment and installation practices used in the landscape and nursery industries. Torrey has been an attendee of over 40 different trade shows, nursery workshops and other industry related meetings. Torrey is a landscape lighting professional with over 100 residential lighting installations. He is a member of the “Pennsylvania Nursery and Landscape Association” (PLNA), the “Holly Society of America”, and the local chapter of Better Business Bureau.

Favorite Plant: All of the plants in the garden are friends of mine, but without hesitation the genus Ilex is my favorite. Holly is the jewel of the garden.

Favorite Landscape Projects: Backyard pool & patio installations where the customer permits me to create the environment. Old farm homes, and classical rustic and natural landscapes are also favorites of mine. Mass plantings and cool customers can’t be overlooked.
